Summer Prayer Workshops

PRAYER WORKSHOPS                                                   JUNE 6 – JULY 18 FROM 5:30 PM TO 7:00 PM!                                                                                                                              Debbie Van Swol, Roxan Reas, & Lori Kotarba invite you to join them in prayer workshops on Wednesdays from June 6 – July 18. 5:30 – 6:00 pm ~ Bring a snack. We will visit and get to know each other better.                                                                                                                                                                                                 6:00 – 7:00 pm ~ We will learn a new way to pray & then pray together! Some of the workshops may include:                                                                                                    Praying the scriptures  Taking a prayer walk  Enjoying silent prayer  Praying with images, not words  Trying different prayer postures  Praying the Jesus prayer.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          There are so many ways to pray. This is going to be fun! We’re going to let the Spirit lead us together! You can come to one workshop or come to them all. Everyone is welcome! Bring a friend! These are no stress workshops with no homework and no reading. We only want to get to know each other better and get closer to Jesus! Signing up would be nice so we have an idea of how many people to expect. But if you forget to do that, come anyway! If you have any questions, please call the church office.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Ephesians 6:18 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people”.
